Beef with Oyster Sauce

Beef with oyster sauceMarinade


1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
450 grams / 1lb sirloin beef, thinly sliced    
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 tablespoons water
½ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
Add the sliced beef and marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Mix the remaining ingredients expect for vegetable oil in a small bowl set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium –high heat.
Stir-fry the beef until lightly browned.
Using slotted spoon, remove the beef and set aside.
Add the oyster sauce mixture into the same pan, stirring until sauce thickens.
Return the meat to the sauce; mix well.
Serve hot.
